alright, i know some ppl out there love em and some would rather just b stock. anyways, i was in an accident a couple weeks ago, a guy pulled out in front of me and i couldnt stop in time. his insurance is takin care of it, i thought i would go ahead and get an aftermarket bumper, since i needed a new one anyways. dropped it off this mornin and they said they will see what they can do. its a spyder urethane bumper for an 01 civic 4door. they said there arent very many mountin spots. the top and sides should b fine, but the bottom might b a problem. im askin for some imput on maybe makin some type of bracket to mount to the frame or any ideas. also some ways to hold the mesh on, ive heard of like a rubber cement type thing. so if u wouldnt mind lettin me know, that'd b great thanx.

I have brackets holding the bottom of my kit up. Brackets are probably the easiest way to go

FYI, there are no differences btwn coupe and sedan bumpers for 7th gens, aside from the 01-03 vs. 04-05 differences.

my mesh was held in by rubber cement kind of stuff.

ooooo not all of em r that bad.....yes, there r some out there that r just terrible, but a few exceptions, and i do know on the front bumper theres no difference between 2/4door, just tryin to b specific ; )

alright come on now, no i dont, its just been my sn for a long time and i like keepin things the same. seriously, we all hav 7th gens and nobody should hate anyone on here unless theyre bein *******s or cocky. like ppl that talk **** about their car bein the fastest and could kick anybodys *** in a race. and plus, i started this thread for opinions about how well other body kits fit on (if anyone else had one) and how the mesh was put on. i got your opinion, which was that u dont like body kits, you'd rather do a lip kit. i respect that, im not lookin for any grudges here cuz i really do think it would b cool for all of us to get together and do somethin

I like body kits IMO... Depends what kit you get, some do look WAY out of place. But the whole Ricer thing is very PLAYED out.
