well i went x-mas shoping here at the dayton mall in ohio and some stupid **** broke into my car broke my damn window ripped apart my interior and took my indash dvd player son-of-a-biatch dumbass left the screwdriver that he stole from sears in the car with the barcode and price tag still on it wating for insuance to do there damn job anyone have anything like this happen to them

i had my **** stolen for the 3rd time on monday morning/sunday night. when i filed a claim, i had them come out and appraise the damage. then they cut me a check and mailed it out to me, minus my deductable. or you could take it to a shop and insurance would pay.

i prefer to do my own work, and i definitely came out better financially by having them appraise it.

what is the easiest way to reset ur idle i sprayed intake cleaner in the intake and my idle got all f*&Ked up and i got trouble codes that come up saying somthin about the iac and iat i dont know if i need to just reset my idle or would i need to replace my iac pleae help

iat is intake air temperatute, it refers to the sensor that plugs into your intake box. my money says you took it out as part of whatever you did and didn't put it back in.

plug it back in its hole, and you should be ok. disconnect battery ground if you reconnect and it doesn't get better about right away

i took it out to spray the throttle body and it is back in my check engine light will go out after the car sits awhile and the problem wont be there it will idle normal but after u drive it the lights will come back on and the idle will be messed up i want to try to reset the ecu see if that will clear eerything and reset the idle i just want to no the process of resetting the idle its a iac and iat and i dont want to replace them and the problem not be fixed the dealer will charge out the *** to do it i no the iac is like 200 bucks and the iat is not cheap either i want to make sure its just not the idle that got messed up before i throw a lot of money into it cuz i want to start puting some more mods on my car but i wont be able to if i keep having to fix it because honda wont let u clean a throttle body lol
