my buddy's blazer had worse. his strut broke off on the highway and went through the wheel. sliced the tire and alloy completely in half. ended up costing him about 3k.

then there was the day i saw a blazer on fire along the turnpike. something inside blew up after we passed, sent a nice wave of heat through the car (and i was 100 feet away or so).

so ya, i am a little biased these were all fairly late models too
