***update on last post***
i started the process of shaving the trunk completely and workin on fixin the crack in my front bumper today. it is a total pain in the **** to shave the trunk. so far we got the spoiler shaved completely, the H emblem shaved, the key hole shaved, and we started on workin on a piece to cover the license plate area. we didnt have a chance to start on the front bumper yet.
all i can say now is that it looks amazingly hot w/o the spoiler
should finish this up this weekend and add some primer to it. im buying the door poppers next week so we can start on shaving the doors then have the car painted by next weekend if all goes well
ill post pics here as i get them

as of right now the spoiler is gone and the honda emblem are gone and welded up good and bondo'd and all done sanding. the key hole is just tac welded and grinded along with some of the hole for the rear plate trim piece. this is all we had time for last night, but we are gonna work some more on it tonight after i get off work. ill go take a pic real quick so you can see the trunk in progress.

here is a picture. as you can see the trunk is all primered down and there is still alot of work to be done. a metal plate is tac welded for now to cover the holes where the molding was and te key hole is tac welded and grinded down. the key hole still needs more welds and lots of bondo to get it good along with the plate molding area, but i needed the car to drive today, so we just closed up the holes for now so i can drive it. the hardest part is going to come today when we have to make a piece of sheetmetal bend just like the curve in the trunk. hopefully we will have this all done by monday if it all goes well.

im welding a piece of sheetmetal to cover where the plate is. we are gonna make it look like there was never even a pot for the plate there in the first place. the whole trunk is getting completely shaved. for the plate, we are fiberglassing a fiberglass box into the rear bumper for it. it is a total pain in the *** to shave all of this and get the lines to flow smoothly, but the finished product is gonna be bad ***.

well, i purchased the shaved dorr handle kit today from summit. it includes the poppers, solenoids, and remote to pop the doors. it was only $170.75 with tax too, so it was a pretty good deal and a nice kit. i got the 45 lb solenoids and poppers. its gonna be bad ***.
i dropped the car tonight for more work. the front bumper should be fixed and the trunk completed and both primered by monday night when i go to pick it up. i need the car for school this week, so that is all he can do till then. im droppin it off again thursday afternoon and the doors should be shaved and everything painted hopefully by next sunday, june 6, for the stylin concepts car show. ill have plenty of new pics then.

well we worked on the car more this weekend and completely shaved the trunk. the trunk still needs ALOT of work though. we need to get the line straight, and there is still alot of bondo and sanding work to be done. we are hoping to have the car all shaved including the doors and painted by mid next week now if all goes good. the bumper was fixed to and we reinforced it to make it alot stronger than it was before. but, here are the pics so far:

as you can see the bumper is better than new and just needs paint and the trunk looks sweet. only problem right now witht he trunk is the body line. we gotta straighten that out, then it should be good to go.

what's the point of shaving it? i wonder.....are you gonna paint it with the same silver color again?
yo!
in that picture, is it photochop?? or did you really take out that two NUTS that hold the license plate???

"It has begun"?
Something sounds madd strange about "it has began."

I honestly think you should get the Kaminari wing with carbon fiber insert. That'd look totally sick with your carbon fiber hood.

wing + shaved trunk = doesnt look good. ive had a wing on this car since almost a week after i bought it and that was about a year and a half ago. im tired of wings, so i needed something different that didnt make the trunk look stock and that is my new completely shaved trunk. just how i like it, clean shaven.
