WTB: A car.
Well Chris is going to buy my civic after all. I'll find out 100% in the next day or two and I need to find a new car. I was looking at getting a new 04 RSX type S, but I'm not sure if I want that big of a car loan right now. I've been looking at some 99-00 SIs and I haven't found much. So if you guys could help me out, I would ber very greatful. I would even be willing to pay $50 for helping.
Ok, I want a Honda/Acura.
99-00 Civic SI
02 RSX Type S
98-01 GSR
Or I would even take a EK Hatch. Car has to be a 5-speed. Have average to low miles on it and in good shape. Clear title too. I want one that it either stock or slightly Modified. So if you guys have any friends that are selling anyone of the above, let me know. Thanks.

Whats up Prod???
Hey man I know this guy out here in IL, near Chicago, that is selling an older SI. The last time I checked he was asking $11,500. The car had 45K on it along with rims, intake, exhaust, and tails. I can take a pic tonight if you want me too and post it up here tomorrow with all the details. Let me know.

240sx owns, but i would not get that year model. i would get a 97-98 240sx and drift that bitch all over town along with an sr20det swap
It sure must be nice for everyone to just go out and pick up new cars like it's a loaf of bread. I'll be stuck with my Civic for at least 2 more years. But to be honest, I LOVE my car. It's perfect for me. And I just broke 50K today!! Woo-hoo!

i don't even wanna get rid of my Civic for something else. not many cars you could get me to trade it for. maybe a few models of Lexus, Mercedes.. or a 95' Supra, that's it though.

14550
that car is gonna be sooo fun. it's a fast civic, yet reliable, which is what i really wanted... plus lower insurance than an rsx (i'm under 25 and have a couple infractions)
what color RSX you goin with? i like the desert siler myself, or that blue

The Blue. If the dealer can ****ing find it. I'm playing phone tag right now here at work with 4 different dealerships. hahaha. Seeing who can beat who and give me the best price.
Yahoo for blue!! My personal favorite. (I'm jealous.) I had to wait 3 weeks for the dealer to find me an EBP when I bought my car. But that was July '01, so there weren't that many out yet.

Jodster: I know of a '90 Civic hatch for $750. Sounds bad, but I want it (B16 swap with some nice CTR parts) it could be a good sleeper. Other than a turbo accord, I don't know of much though....

i think it's the alternator, even though i've had it rebuilt and tested about 2-3 times. i duno, all my electronic stuff started dying, then the transmission started to slip, so i had to park it downtown and get a new battery and bring it home today. i just bought a new battery last week too.. grrr.

don't batteries have some kind of warranty? i know the do testing for battery and alternator health too, are you running a high output audio system? i've had systems with over 1200W rms and no problems besides dimming, running a stock battery i drained once already. gl with it
