"JDM power-folding side mirrors for coupes" makes no sense. They don't sell coupes on Japan. EDM coupes have power-folding side mirrors, though.

But the UK didnt get "power folding"... they got just folding mirrors (by hand)


Personally, I would rather "copy" the JDM market over the UK market.

How about UKDM mirrors for coupes and JDM powerfolding mechanism? That'd give a powerfolding mirror for coupes!

The "jdm" power folding have wiring in them to make them "fold" in.

UKDM is basicly just a "shell" no wiring! Also the UKDM are only break away mirrors! Not power folding! So inorder to mechanically have it be power folding... it would be a pain in the ***!

A real pain in the ***!!!

Its way different...

Changing tha "non power side" to a power side... only changing the "glass" in the mirror to move...

have to ever seen a "JDM Power Folding Mirror"???

The whole mirror (or shell) "MOVES" in! Its SICK!

To "mechanically" make it "MOVE" in it wold take WAY too much fabricating... IMO it would be A-LOT easier to chough up the $350 for some brand new DC5 mirrors. Or get some off a wrecked type R!

you only need to drill one hole.

due to fitment issues...( and you wont ever see the hole)

A bunch of people on this sight have DC5 power folding mirrors.

DC2 fit also!

there jdm power folding mirrors not dc5 mirrors the dc5 ones dont fit only the dc2 fit and you only have to drill one hole not the dc5 on the one link you post it even says jdm power folding mirrors gotta get your facts striaght

Hmm! Its damn hard to find them on the coupe! I have seen a pic though. But **** when I do the conversion I'll post pics. I plan on putting DC5 power folding mirrors on my EM2.

But you should just buy the Canadian or UKDM ones. Save a few hundred dollars.
