I just sent an email to Koni....

"Is the new Koni Sport Kit for the 2004 Honda Civic Sedan a complete strut housing damper or a Cut-A-Strut insert system?

And my last question is what is the spring rates on this kit for this particular application?

Thanks,

Matt"

I just got off the phone with a tech at Koni NA...

The Sport kit is simply the koni yelows and matched spring by a european company pronounced "Avokland."

The fronts are still cut-away-insterts. :/

The good thing is that the springs are made to match the shocks.

And you save on Springs. Seems like the sport kit goes for $600 vs $800+ for koni yellow/eibach springs.

I'll just got with the tokico d-spec strut and spring combo.
I don't want to mod or pay to mod to get the koni inserts put in.

$ 715 at http://www.dezod.com/search1.cfm?Search_Term=d+spec

Developed using the HTS advanced valving system from Japan, the D-Spec (Damping Specific) Series shock absorber allows TOKICO engineers to create a true "dial-in" 16-way adjustable shock absorber. Using an externally detented adjustment dial allows fine-tuning and a broader range of both rebound and compression damping force available to fit every performance driving need.
