Hello gentlemen (and ladies),
I've recently been in contact with a rep from MaxRev Motorsports concerning the purchase of a turbo kit for my '01 LX. My original reason for calling him was to find out if the there would be any incompatibility with the chargepiping due to the catalytic converter differences. After discussing this and polishing certain parts, HiPerCoating other parts, and fuel management systems he finally told me that they had decided to fabricate a chargepipe for the D17 engines from the ground up. Apparently older chargepipes for these kits was merely a modified B-Series engine chargepipe. No more. Now they are doing what they self-admittedly should've done in the first place. Now...Andy Ream (the guy I've been in touch with) suggested that I attempt to scrounge up support for a group buy for these turbo kits. If anyone's interested and has any questions feel free to email me at: efunk69@charter.net. You can also visit MaxRev's website at: http://www.maxrev.com. I'll be happy to answer any questions I can or I can simply direct you to Andy. Anywho...either respond here or drop me a line if you're interested. Thanks!
