Need an Engine and help putting it in - 95 Civic, northern Virginia
Ok, I know this isn't the usual WTB post, but here goes:
I live in Northern Va and am looking for a new engine for my 95 DX coupe, manual transmission. This is 'supposed' to be my work car, but it had turned into the car that gets worked on... anyway. If you look at my threads, my engine has been giving me attitude and last night it seems to have crapped out (wife rolled it into the driveway and pulled the parking brake, and that's where it landed). I've already put a bunch of money into this car in other areas (brakes, cv axles, etc...), and I want to look at every avenue before I give up on this car and start over. So- like the title says I'm in Northern Virginia (Quantico, yes, I'm a Marine), and I'm wondering if anyone has an engine that I could swap mine out with, and someone that could either help me do the swap, or that I could pay to do the swap.
I don't care if it's a D15B7 or not, as long as you know what you're doing for any conversion work.
Thanks.
p.s. I'm posting this here because I can't afford the shop prices, I'm not asking for free, but please be gentle...
Nevermind- found a motor- Thanks- delete!
