Check car-part.com. Heads right now are as low as 200. Just make sure that if you're mating it to a non vtec motor that you pick up the ecu (which will cost extra) and the head has the vtec solenoid on it (otherwise you're valve lift won't be any higher that it is on a non vtec head).

i know about that, i have an Ex motor. I just want the head to PnP it and dyno it so we (the whole site) can see if a PnP on an N/A motor is worth it.

Well, this is on a more technical note but you aren't going to get any tremendous results from just doing headwork on an n/a sohc. Maybe if you bump compression, improve the flow from the intake manifold and supply more fuel you could probably get some decent numbers. Anyways, check that site man, best place to look. Thanks for the response, i know im not gonna get a huge power gain, but i still want to see what the power boost is. besides i don't have the money to do everything at once, so i have to do it one at a time......
