Yo Catalyst and SFPower... We appreciate all the hardwork you guys are putting in for the 7thGen Civic. It's cool that we finally have some hope of putting down some horsepower. Please give us some news as soon as you guys develop a turbo system for the EX. I'll be in line for one as soon as summer comes. Thanks.

We currently have everything for the EX except the downpipe. The downpipe for the EX will be done early to late last week.

How are you guys doing the downpipe for the EX? Does it connect with the stock downpipe/cat, or replace the unit all together?

it will be exactly like the Lx. it will replace the exhaust manifold ONLY. it will bolt up to your stock midpipe and catalytic converter. It will be like installing a header. just unbolt your exhaust manifold, and replace it with the turbo/manifold/downpipe combo.

Oh fun. I wanted to be in the Airforce. I even have 2 airplanes (mustang super II and beechcraft musketeer). I need to get my bachelors degree first so i can go in as an officer and fly right away.

anyways, good luck with your military action, and i hope you get home safely!

The EX downpipe is being constructed right now. He is welding the pieces together, and the prototype is almost complete. So those of you who want their EX kit, it is now available

here is the downpipe for the EX. it uses the same manifold and same turbo as the LX, and it will bolt up to the stock exhaust.

lol. It has been my experiance that the ball bearing turbos have nothing over the turbos that come in our kits. they say they last longer, but there are volvos with the same style turbos as ours that have 200,000 miles on their original turbo, and they are still good. I know this because when i had my first turbo kit, thats what i got my turbo off of, and thats how many miles it had on it.

i cant tell you what RPM in 1st gear, because as soon as i make boost in 1st the tires break loose (around 3000 RPM). But i am making 6 psi in 2nd at about 3200rpm.

FlameBoy hasn/t sent the header yet?
It has been 2 1/2 weeks since he posted he would...Isn't it too late.

I think Catalyst said that SF was putting the finishing touches on the EX model, and it would be ready by the end of the week.

the EX downpipe is complete. We finished it 2 days ago, so the Ex kit is for sale. Look at the Group buy, you will see what the setup looks like in there.
