Modifyed Turbo Blower

I have a modifyed turbo blower that is in an open position when off, and when activated it blows 40 psi into the engine, i cant seem to find a type of switch that can carry enough power to and from the battires to the turbo, please if any one knows of a type of switch that can handle that kind of power.

40 psi??? who told you that? the guy at the hardware store...

anyways... whats the deal with this switch? how much voltage does it require?? are there any instructions that came with this 40 psi blower??

You need a high current relay. Then use a small switch to trip the large relay. You should be able to find a relay that can handle whatever current you need.

-but-

Why 40 psi? I highly doubt that you could create that kind of pressure. However, why would you want to? I am assuming that you are talking about using the compressor side of a turbo attached to an electric motor. If this is the case where is the 40 psi rating coming from? Is that where the compressor stalls (ie: max psi= 40)? I think we need more information about what it is you are really trying to do...
