well, they should show a picture of their turbo kits that they sell for our cars, instead of a show car. We want to see the stuff they sell, not the stuff they show. There is a big difference.
and i just thought of something, if their kit makes 56% more horsepower than stock, that would be 182 hp at the flywheel.
The turbo on my car made 228 horsepower at the flywheel estimated by a REAL DYNO, that is a 95% increase over stock.
Also, i saw that our cars make 99 hp at the wheels stock, i made 165 at the wheels through my stock exhaust. That is a 66% increase over stock. and since then, i have upgraded to an aftermarket exhaust, and gained a noticable amount of power.
hmm..... I think that 66% @ 6psi is a little better than the 56% their kit is estimating.

This is great news for all those who want to go boosted.
Does anyone know all the parts that go with this kit? I know the extreme kit comes with an intercooler but what does it use to solve the fuel management with our returnless system? Thanks.

As for fuel the Extreme kit comes with injectors and an injector control unit. Completly adjustable on the fly. See this page for details.

If you buy the Superior kit, we sell it as an add on.

If it's not a typo, and you are using your own returnless fuel system and want to know if you need to modified that fuel system, then I dunno. That's really a question only you can answer. You'd need to give me more information.
i wasnt aware your system had a return. people say that the returnless fuel system on the 7th gen civic can only handle so much boost. i just wanted to know if your fuel controllers help our returnless fuel system pump more fuel that it normally could to the engine.
of course i wouldnt boost 16psi on a stock engine lol
thanks

As I am sure you know everyone would like to know the WHP numbers of this kit. So it would be nice if you posted them
Well the Superior kit gives a 30% increase in horse at the CRANK like you said. So doing the math : 127 (crank EX power) * 30% = 38.1 So the Superior kit will only give me 40 horsepower which will total to 127+38.1 = 165.1 AT THE CRANK.......an Si has 160 at the crank so I'm not that impressed with those #'s.
Then theres the Extreme kit that gives a 56% increase at the CRANK. Doing the math once againg 127*56%= 71.2 increase in horse. So the extreme kit will give 127 + 71.2= 198.12 AT THE CRANK. So your car will have as many horse as a Stock Type S.
So you decide if its worth the money $2,100.00 for 165.1 CRANK horsepower
OR $3,120.00 for 198.12 CRANK horspower.
If the #'s at the crank were at the wheels then maybe this kit would be something to get excited about. But at least they are starting to make kits.
I think I am gonna stick to my Si (EP) swap. Since its a hell of alot cheaper than the Type S swap

"the kit adds up to 56 horsepower if you go extreme.the kit will be here
may
15th.if you are serious pre order to avoid further delays thx brett"
...for 3,120 you only get 56 + hp ? ...in a year, that turbo price will go down..just wait, invest the money somewhere else, go custom rather then this...56 my ***..

If you look at ViNRoCk8's math above, you'll see that brings a stock Civic from 127 hp to 198 hp at the crank.
That's at 6.5 lbs of boost with the Extreme kit.
"The design of a turbo actually makes the car run cleaner, however you are modifying the way your exhaust system works and the smog guys don't always like this. Check with other drivers in VA and see what they went through when they had to test smog."
i can't really check with other drivers in VA since no one has this kit in my area. but it would be nice if you get let me know if you find out whether it will pass or not?
