Post unghosted;

There are several threads here on engine swaps and K swaps....please search as your questions have probably been answered already

The 1st gen CRV (97-01) has a B series 2.0 Liter not K series
2nd gen CRV (02-) has a K series 2.4 Liter

USA Civic SI came with a K series 2.0 Liter for several years,
and some Acuras had the K series 2.0 Liter

Thanx I appreciate it but on regards to the wiring and the K20 comp would I be able to take the one from the CRV and and use it on my 02 civic with the K20 swap or no?

Before you get all worked up about doing a swap.. search the internet as there's plenty of info. Look into the cost, labor, time and whatever else it's going to entail. Also, search JDM engine sites for engines...supposeddly lower mileage engines shipped from Japan to the U.S.

Short answer: No because CRV never came with a K20.

Re: Motor swap from 02 civic D17 to CRV K20

so not even if I put the K20 motor from he CRV. Thing is I have a CRV with a K20 motor but its basically ready to scrap because of the body however the motor is still good and the wiring along with a few other things but if I take the K20 motor from the CRV I wouldn't b able to use the computer from the same CRV and put it on the 02 Civic with the K20 motor from the CRV? and my apologies that I keep asking its just that its not that I wanna just use the computer from the K20 on my D17 motor I wanna use the Computer and the Motor from the CRV and switch it to my 02 civic ?

Your CRV does not have a K20.
Your CRV has either a B20 or a K24.

You could post exactly what year your CRV is and we can tell you what engine is in it, or you could scrape the crud off the engine ID pad and find this out for yourself.
Hell, put up a picture of the CRV and its engine so the rest of us can see it.
