Boosting my 2001 Ex

I'm about to order this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_6866wt_1006

I know its ebay, but its the same kit i was gonna order from godspeed.

Yes, I know its cheap etc etc, im not planning on running a ton of boost. All I want is a bit more HP and fun. My car is in great condition with only 43k miles .

Anyways, my question is, do you think my dad and I could install the kit by ourselves? Is it easy? I will be having a shop do the oil pan tapping. I'm also looking to buy a e-manage.

Anything else I need? Im only planning 5-8 lbs of boost

Re: Boosting my 2001 Ex

I'm not going over this again.

If you aren't willing to spend the appropriate amount of money to boost your car don't even try, that turbo kit is a piece of garbage. The components are such poor quality you'll be lucky to make 150-160whp and you car that's in great condition will become a piece of **** as a result of the abuse those unreliable components will throw at it.

Emanage isn't enough, you need k-pro, period.
