I put on 3/8 npt bung for a vac manifold, and one for the brake booster. You still use your factory hardware for everything else fuel rail, etc. These wont trip cels on piggyback systems.

The two topmounts are done. I'm just waiting on my parts from Honda to make sure everything is aligned properly before sending anything out. I used most of the stuff I had on hand when putting my car together so I didnt have enough hardware for final mockup. The stuff should be here tomorrow. I also have the plenum for the N/A manifold all put together so maybe tomorrow I will start fitting the runners together.

Gerry.... tip before you send these out.... weld a 1/8 NPT fitting in next to the stock MAP sensor port so you can mount an AEM sensor (assuming people buying them are using a screw in high pressure MAP). Its an incredibly tight squeeze to get a 3/8 T fitting next to the throttle to mount both the map sensor and the Vac manifold.

gerry question on those manifolds. Do you make your own TB plates or do you have someone else mill them?

Please don't do the 1/8" NPT in that location on mine! My GM 3-BAR is not a screw-in! If you do put one in, I'd put it somewhere close to the passenger side as there's more room over there to hang my GM sensor (which is where it is already).
All that being said Gerry, they look ****ing awesome!!!!

You guys can mount those 1/8 map sensors on your vaccuum manifolds. It doesnt effect the readings as long as you supply the vaccuum manifold with a 3/8 line. no sense jamming it all into one spot and making it hard on yourselves. I have yet to have a problem doing it that way.

Tfnaaf, right now I am working with a guy at night on these. We write the programs on cad/cam software. He helps me set up the machine and I am the dummy that stands around and feeds it. There is a lot to know with cnc machinery and I'm still learning the basics. I'm not fluent enough to trust myself with a $250k machine just yet, hehe. I am very hands-on so I still have control over everything that I do, quality is very important to me.

Good stuff on the MAP port Gerry. I've got mine running off my vac mani currently and am glad to know I don't have to change it around at all.

Well my parts from honda arent coming till tomorrow
On the plus side I got the n/a manifold all figured out and most of the way tacked together. I managed to get just the runner length I was looking for. The plenum volume has go to be pretty close to what I needed as well. I'm hoping the shape of it will be more effective of keeping the velocity up vs a y8 manifolds plenum, or even the previous n/a manifold I designed. I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

hey gerry, i'm i'm just curious but are u using some kinda of formula to figure these things out? just curious how u r going about it... not doubting ur skills nor do i want to know the formula was just curious if there was one... thanks!!! keep us all updated on the progress of everything!!!
Re: Who wants a JDMFabtech Intake Mani? Steve and I do! - Serious Interest Only
yes there are formulas out there if you dig deep enough. If only it were that simple though, hehe. There is much more to it then making things a specific size. Honestly, it would take probably 10 or more manifolds of different varieties to get every last bit out of a given setup, but we can get close on the first shot based on my previous experiences. Time will tell, hehe.

Are you putting serial numbers on these or some other identifiable marking Gerry? Just a thought, I think they're unique enough to warrant a little engraving pen action.

Clint, they won't ship till Monday, maybe Tuesday depending on whats open. Would you prefer fedex or usps? I'm just not going to have enough time today to get em boxed up and sent out.

Ahh, no probs Gerry. USPS Priority is the best way for them to go. You'll get bent over by Fedex. Just ship them to my APO address listed in the PayPal payment.
