Need help!
So we just got done doing all the mechanical portions of this. Everything is in and ready to go. Heres the problem:
-We are running an auto ECU and the auto dash harness, but we are running the manual engine harness. Wehn we go to crank the motor, nothing happens. We pulled the silenoid off from under the steering wheel so we can get the key out, but the car wont crank.
I know there is a wire that we need to ground to make the ECU think that the transmission is in park or neutral, but where is that wire? We need help. asap! Thanks in advance.

Re: Need help!
Youre just supposed to ground that wire out...correct? We tried that and it didnt work. Actually...let me explain a little better. haha.
Since we are using the manual engine harness, you are no longer using the plug that goes to the gear selector box. So now that portion is no longer plugged in to the ECU. So what we did, was cut it off the old harness, plugged it in to the ecu, and grounded the blue/white wire and it didnt work.
Are we going about this the wrong way?
We did bump start it just to make sure everything else was ok and it runs good, just need that stupid wire. hahaha.

Re: Need help!
Ya but the C connector doesnt exist on the manual engine harness. So do I just need to cut the connector off the old harness, plug it into the ECU and then ground pin C12? Cause we tried that and It still wouldnt crank.
Re: Need help!
That should help. Were going to get back at it tomorrow...but that looks almost exactly like what we were looking for. Thanks for all your help bro!

Re: Need help!
my guess is your grounding it between the relay and the ecu?? and it needs to be grounded after the relay between the relay and the A/T shifter???
