so i take it nobody has tried to build a d17a2 with around the specs around 11.5:1 and 86mm bore. if anyone thinking i'm looking at k20a specs i don't know if the displacement will match. I think if we can get those numbers in the block without turbo we can get a better powerband. i'm am looking to try and build both a d17a2 and k20a for my ride. to see which one would pan out better in the long run. i know that everyone swears by k20a like skunk2 did the 700hp monster, but the engine we have basically can do better imo.

I hate to bump such an old post, but did carrillo ever release these rods?
I emailed them awhile back, and have yet to hear anything. And they dont list them in thier catalog.

Yes. But I don't know if Dezod is still going to be carrying them or not since they are not going to be selling D17-specific turbo bits anymore.
