Of course every little bit helps. An equal length design manifold is going to flow better than a log but imo, the nicer, more expensive, top end parts will shine most when you start making alot of power and pushing things. My setup is proof of that.

Im still waiting for the headgasket and some other misc stuff from slhondaparts.com. If I get it by friday we can do it. Hey on that extra engine of yours, does the water passage have an EGR valve or no? If not ill trade you for one that does.

eh...i dont really need it. that engine is headed to the scrap heap this weekend. the block is toast. looks like im back to square one on my engine build. i think ill just start piecing together my k swap instead. lol

let me come by and steal some stuff from if b4 u get rid of it. I may need a sensor or 2 also.

Thats my theory.
My EL has no traction, stock RSX (non-S) was able to pull on me of the start line, that was a lil' upsetting. We did not have chance to accelerate past 25 mi/hr mark anyway...lol

The SI will easily kill me from a launch cause of the lsd and better tires. after 1st im not sure. It would probably be pretty close

probably. i ran a friend of mine with a b16 w/lsd swap in his 90 civic and he didnt take me by much during the 60 ft. it was wierd.

At 185 whp, you should smoke an si. 60' is all in the driver and the tune. If your foot is too heavy, you'll have problems on the launch. If you can manage not to floor it until midway through 2d, you can pull good 60's...

awsome numbers, gives me hope for the turbo instead of kswap. Anyways dont wnat to jack the thread but you guys seem to know what your talking about. I have an 04 auto and want to get the dezod turbo kit but from what i understand the AEM EMS is only for standards. What is the next best thing, I want only the best for my car but swapping to a standard seems out of the question, is the PCS system the next best? Thanks for your help guys im a newb to the management systems

vs a stock Si its no question that you'd win, lighter car, more torque. if the si has mods and reflash it'd be pretty close. nice to see the 7thgens turbo setups still progressing.

its nice to see boosted d17s springing up lately. the R&D and amount of work put in for these turbo'd d17s seem to be getting smoother and smoother everytime someone takes on a build...::sigh::.. hopefully in the near future we'll see the N/A d17s start piling in to hang with the turbo'd guys.... yea right lol.

Well got my built engine in and the dump tube on the WG welded up. Short story is that it runs... But its not boosted yet so its even slower then stock. Im gonna put a few hundred miles on it before I get tuned just to make sure that everything is ok with the rebuild.

Looks good man, wrap that sucker! You shouldn't have any problems clearing the radiator crossmember and hood with that placement. Very nice.
Check the outlet on the DP though. My V2 DP narrows from 2.5" to 2" at the entry point into the exhaust (right after the flange). Needless to say, that bottleneck is getting cut off and regular 2.5" piece welded in its place.

this one is 2.5" all the way and I diddnt have to cut the rad support at all. I just had to bend it a tiny bit. Rite now im working on a fiberglass tray for the battery in the trunk. Also Im waiting for a greddy recirculation valve to replace the bov to keep it more sleeperish...
