If you do the math is a substancial gain
So lets see minus a 50 shot plus 2 psi is about 255 whp? plus the cam and tune= to 50 whp gain on the cam? Thats why i asked what are the improvments I know how much the cam helps I have it also and I wasn't being a smart *** but i guess you assumed i was but is that the correct math to this equation?????
I asked purely because in math you can't do an equation unless you have all the numbers, to my knownledge i do not know the numbers of your car without a 50 shot on 16 psi and you probably do, So you don't know exact hp gain from cam?

400rpm will take some doing but you'll never know.
I'm just thankfull that the engine internal build is holding as well as it has.
Not once I had any of any of my d17 engines giving out on me.
Even the stock I sold to my friend still running after the abuse it took from spraying nitrous since it was new.
My engine has run for two years since the build and it will keep running for ahwile.
And I drive my car as often as I can.

About damned time. Good job bro, mad props. This is exactly why the cam will be my next upgrade. Apparently that's one of our biggest restrictions. I am sitting at about the same brick wall you just jumped over.
i've never seen your numbers before, but ooohhhhh my god you're putting out awesome numbers!!!! I'd usually hate that paint job on any other car but your car deserves that paint job. I'd wouldn't mess with it.
You must be the d17 with the highest output i've seen on the site.

There is a place here American Motorsports that can test/dyno the engine by it self.

I don't mind at all;
I paid more cause the Wiseco pistons where custom made for me at the time, now you can buy them at a better price.
Some of the other parts where available just needed a some research to find.
I had to do some things twice cause there was no data on how to do a D17 rebuild till now.
All and all, I said about $3000,00 just for the internals, including
machining.
Now, other factors such return fuel about $1000.00 complete witch you'll have to do anyway, another $800 for the heads spring retainers cam and P&P.
Another $1000 for the IM and fuel rail, again custom made.
Is not the sport for the short of cash.
I'm not rich contrary of some ppl believes, I did this over couple of years period of time, just budged my income and save the money to get it done.
I did a FAQ (Frecuently asked questions) on the engine build up that shows the progress of it over a period of the 2 years time.FAQ D17A1 engine build up
