Engine Swap Help????

here is the thing . the d17 is nice, but i want more power ... what engine swaps can be done with the 7th gen ..(01 civic ex).. i have heard about people doing a b18, b20, swap in these rides. i know abou the k20, and the k24.. but i would like to go different and i really would like to do a turbo h22 out of a 98 prelude .. if this can be done with the h22 or older b series what ir required .. axles, wiring, computer, etc.. thanks guys.. oh yeah i want a 6sp to.. let me know how to make this work ...

How much money you got? That's what it comes down to. You can put any engine in any car you want. Now, if we're talking realistic, streetable swaps (I.E. Ones that are Legal and cost effective) Your options are the K series. Unless you want to spend an arm and a leg making a B or H series work from a 2001 Integra or Prelude, because those are the only legal B/H swaps available to a 2001 Civic. If you want a good frankenstein setup that not too many people have, get a K24 block, a K20a2 head, and a Type S tranny (6 speed)

Now if you want to boost this motor, Your best bet is getting a 5 speed, because the longer gearing of the 5 speed will allow more boost to build throughout the gear range.

Question Swaping '01 LX Civic

What model engine do i have and what type might i switch to if i want to run 10lbs of boost

also aside from that do i have a vtech emgine...if not should and or could i swap for a vtech?

Thanks in advance any and all feedback would be greatly appriciated
