^^
oil pan is a biatch.
The problem is that the pan is to well "glued" to the block with Honda gasket material.
I've used small prybar from home depot. I stucked into one of corners and used all my power to unstick it from the block.

hey bro im about to intall that EXACT same set up on mine in a week. i see that you remover the a/c components? why? your not suppose to have to with Dezod kit. how hard was it to actually install the manit and turbo. tight tight fit or slide in pretty easily? i bought another oil pan and had it modified with fitting for drain line and ima have my guy at honda swap the pans next time i do oil change in a few days and ill have the fitting capped off till i put on the turbo. take and post more pics man i want to see how yours comes along! OH also are you or have you relocated your battery to the trunk? i want to but ive heard its not good for our cars and can cause voltage drop or soem crap... idk... what boost you gonna start off at?

YOu seriously need to steam clean that engine bay, and try a little lime remover and a wire brush and get rid of some of those salt deposits all over your engine.

looking real good cangrats on the diy turbo, makes me proud of a fellow tuner. as fpr the oil pan i just used lolitapierce's little brother and told him to pull it while i replaced all the fittings on the turbo.
hey man can you post a pic of where you put the drain bung in your oil pan? im having my extra pan drilled and the fitting welded in today or tomorrow and from the looks of it im just gonna have to have it all the way to the left on the shallow side.... just wondering how yours is done?
well im a tard... a stainless fitting cant be welded to aluminium... hmmm JB WELD!!!??? i guess that should work hu? anyone have a suggestion? i was thinkin... drill and tap a hole in the pan... screw in the fitting i have.... with some red locktight.... the JB WELD the HELL out of it inside and out... what yall think? lol

^ thats the last thing i have to do..and its going on the top of the shallow part of the pan
Here are some updates
Driled and fabbed up my bov

Removed, drilled, cleaned and reinstalled vac manifold and lines...They wanted 40 bucks for a vac line kit at a local performance store, so i just ended up using 150 psi clear tubing that i got for 4.00...it still needs black loomb to clean it up

Oil feed and pressure sensor

What am I going to do about this clearance?? Holy thats tight!

kool you have the same feed line setup i do! lol man its lookin great! keep up the good work! keep s posted with sexy pics! im doin my pan today. gotta get some JB WELD and a drill bit and a tap and ill be ready! what psi boost you gonna start at? im starting mine with the lowest wastegate spring i could get. like 4.75 psi i think. then ill slowly turn it up till i hit around 8 and ill tune it really well and keep that till i have time/money for internals!
hey dude..yeah its nice to have other building at the same time
makes me feel alot better...yeah my wastegate i still need to get a 90 degree elbow because it doesnt clear the hood
im starting at 6psi until i have time to throw in my clutch and flywheel and head studs after that 8-10 psi
keep us updated on your build as well! im getting so excited just to have my car back!

Get an aluminum fitting of the same size and thread and bring the pan to a welder to have it welded up.
well i did the JB WELD thing but i only used it as a back up epoxy for leaks and strength. what i did was drill a hole and tapped it out to the size of my fitting. then used red locktite and screwed it in. i applied a small amount of JB WELD around the base of the fitting in the back then screwed on a thin nut and tightened it down to hold the fitting in even better. then i JB WELDed the entire back and made it smooth and silk and the frngt is done with JB WELD also and very smooth. i didnt want to use a aluminium fitting cause they crack EASY!!!!!!!!! so its done now and i have to say it looks quite nice. it will work fine! its not being held in by the JB WELD only reinforced by it. : )
i hope you not talking about using it on the inside of the pan!!! you think aluminum cracks just wait for that stuff. the best option by far is having a bung welded to the pan. using a nut in the inside of the pan is a bad idea as well. if it comes loose you have a nut loose in your engine block. at least if the aluminum weld cracks it just leaks and doesnt send chips ior nuts nto your motor.
well if itll make you happy ill go ahead and call myself retarded. thing is i really dont care that much... if somethng major happens thats just an excuse for me to do full internals. so... yea... no more critisism... im just saying what im doing now.... but thanks for the advice anyway... SOOOOOO does anyone know of a nice flutter BOV? my friend has one on his supra and it sounds amazing!

^^
Almost any BOV (if not any) has adjustable sound level. I've tried mine (Generic TSI) with different levels, sound frequensy does change, but now its set at almost loudest level. It exhales as a loud high pitched whistle. I like it.
...
I did not have acces to a welder, so I did not weld my oil pan either. I think welding would be the best, but its is overkill. My fitting if it gets loose, wont have major effect on anything. Instead of JB weld, I used a copper coloured gasket maker. It's dried out and it is a ball of rubber now, its is oil and gasoline safe, so I dont wory about it. Also I have a nut on the outside of the oil pan, so nothing will stay inside an oil pay if it gets loose for whatever reason..

ive got the greddy style BOV. i know sound level is adjustable but i wanna know how to make it flutter or where to find a flutter valve. ill be happy with any sound tho. lol i love the loud woosh... the high pitched thing isnt for me. but everyone has different tastes. yea my pan turned out awesome. everything is hardened and good to go. it looks like sex! haha im not sure how to post pics on here or id put them up. im gonna put them all on my xanga tho. ill put up my xanga page adress when i get some more up there. im just ready to get this thing in!!!!

, but how in the world that motor looks so old and rusty
