Dezod Core Kit....Round 3!
Ok guys. If all goes well within the next 1-2 months, we should have our V3 D17 Turbo kit out. Refined and better than ever. Re-designed for better flow, more power and cheaper to the end user.
Our goals for V3:
Better & smoother bends on exhaust components
Nicer looking charge piping (like our tC kit)
Cheaper cost to the end user
Better boost response
Just overall a better product with FASTER turnaround time too!
**If we can, EVERY kit will have an Equal Length Race Manifold as the manifold.
Questions, comments and concerns?

I think that's dope! It'll allow more people to boost, which is good.
Too bad I already got a kit.
But, good lookin'

yeah sounds awesome. im just still worried about the price.
you talking cheaper then the other kits, or just cheap in general for what we're getting or could you give us a ballpark figure like 1200-1500, 2500-3000, 3000-3700? just a ballpark figure would be awesome. thanks dezod, you are the man when it comes to 7thgens!

Riddle me this... You would make more money selling a couple of 3000 dollar kits or make more selling 2500 dollar kits so fast you cant keep them on the shelf. IMO that's what would happen. A low budget kit that produces like 7psi is every poor kids dream. If i saw a kit complete go for 2500 that didnt look like something i could build myself for 2000 i would click the buy now and be done with it. And really thats what i hope to see from you. I have been waiting for the (cheaper kit) simply becouse im 22 and dont have 4000+ dollars to boost my car. I see GReddy can boost other single cams for like 2000 with complete kits including e manage. It comes down to this when a turbo kit cost as much as a swap. I personally would choose the swap becouse a k series is simply more tuner friendly then the d17. But if the price was RIGHT and the turbo kit was just enough to keep me reputable then boost is in my future.

You can not compare the size of GReddy to us. Their size and budget is probably 20 times ours. They can afford to mass produce cheaply because of the demand (their name and reputation), and they use cheap parts like rinky dink (16 & 18G turbos). They put down ok power levels, but by no means are impressive. Their kits at 8 PSI put down 60-70whp gains, we put down 100+ with ours. For a mere couple hundred dollars more you get more power, and more expandability. They sell their 96-00 Civic kit for $2675 with a cast manifold, an e-manage and 310cc injectors....Street price is $2300-2500.
How expandable is their kit? Not much. It is a T25 footed turbo, which means if you want to make serious power, and need a T3/T4, now your getting a new custom manifold, and larger turbo. Our kit already puts you in the driver's seat with no BS. T3/T4 to start. Out of box ready for 200-300whp. All you need to do is comprise a fuel and engine management aspect, which most people get cheap and used anyway. How many used e-manages and used RSX injectors do you see on this board, club rsx and ebay?
Demand also steers companies like GReddy, HKS and likes away from making turbo kits for this car. If everyone had that mentality, there would not be a D17 market at all. I feel our existing kit is quite quality oriented and offers a lot of flexibility. You get consistant replicated products, that are built to last.
Seriously, if you guys want us to make a poor garbage, no 2 kits alike, TSI competition kit for cheap, we can do it, but do not expect to make decent power, don't cry when pipes don't fit just right......
Of course we want to sell volumes, but we have a VERY tight knit philosophy of doing things right and once. Doing what your saying, would be compromising that. In order for us to sell significantly cheaper, we need to use lesser quality parts like Mild Steel as apposed to stainless which will not rust. Smaller turbos, non TiAL wastegates, non Garrett turbos.....
