Exclamation car dead!!!

Ok heres the detailes, Last night i was driving down 1-75 crusing about 75 or 80mph and the car simpilly dies on me. I hit the hazzards and make my way over to the emergency lane, and sat for almost 2 hours waiting for a tow truck. The car turns over but wont start. I have no clue where to start to try and fix the problem. It is a 01 civic with a K20A3 swap, hondata K-pro, and greddy turbo kit. Someone please help. I am fixing to go back home and check the fuel pump, and the injectors. I am also going to check the coils. I am up for any suggestions.

ummm. yeah i'd make sure you got gas in the car first lol. sounds like you got no gas. then check your air intake, fuel injectors, spark plugs, fuel delivery system if none of that fixes it, then its prob a computer problem which would really suck. good luck to you man.

check to make sure the fuse for the fuel pump didnt blow. I have had that happen before. It is frustrating. You have to sit there and get towed over a $.02 piece

Not to be an ***, but what does that remotely have to do with his issue?

anyway, you need to see if you are not getting spark or fuel.

oh sorry i guess its not allowed to be a simple problem. He said his car doesn't start, I said it might be the plugs. platinum gets too hot and could damage the engine if used with a turbo. sheesh i don't see you offering any help.

Your just to logical for most
I use spray ether(starting fluid). A shot in the intake while cranking over, if it fires-it's a fuel problem, no fire= electronics (spark).

just DO NOT USE TOO MUCH ETHER! Just a very very small squirt.

i have broken 60-series detroit diesel motors with too much ether. So be very careful. The stuff burns very violently.

hahaha that happend to me too... i was driving on the freeway and the car suddenly died. i poped the hood to see if i blew anything. i'd turn the key and the car would be cranking but it wouldn't turn over. i checked the fuse box and whipped out the test light in the trunk and found that it was the fuel pump fuse. i didn't have anymore spare fuses so i pulled the horn fuse and popped it in place of the fuel pump fuse and the car started right up. i didn't have the use of my bicycle horn for a few days but it worked and got me where i needed to go...

yea, i have to stress that. I was working on a 18-wheeler because if couldnt start. It had just lost prime. So we pumped it up, and sprayed a bunch of ether in there to get it to start. But the ether was soo violent and we put too much in that it broke a rod. And this is a motor that makes 1500 ft/lbs of torque and runs 35 psi of boost.

ether is good in very small quantities.

Whats up everyone. First of all let me thank everyone for there response, they were all very helpfull information. It turned out the it was the ingintion fuse that i taped into to power my boost contoler. the wire was hanging down and my foot pulled the fuse loose. So it cost me $85(towing) to find out that my fuse was loose. So the point of the story is just do the job right the first time and it wont end up costing you more in the long run.

check all the connections. There must be something not connected right, or not getting power, or a wire cut, etc.
