Civic with K20A
I'm just planing my swap right now and the future of it, After I do the swap with the rsx ecu, can I do a turbo that was designated for the RSX and bolt it in with my setup? and how about the e-management? For example, using the HKS turbo setup for the rsx and getting a F-CON V Pro. will that work?
thx.
thx.

there's people with stock A2s running 400+ HP, its all in the tune, but taking a motor thats basically handcrafted for N/A madness and boosting it is still nuts IMHO. 11.5:1 compression is not made for holding boost. Pick up the much cheaper and larger K24A1 or A4 (Accord? Or CR-V) and boost that.

11:1 or 11.5:1 either way is still too high in my mind. It works, yes, but you're hanging on the verge of blowing it up unless you have a really good tuner doing your work. The margin for minor errors is non existent whereas with the K20A3 or K24s, you have a little wiggle room.

k20a3@10 psi = ~230whp
k20a2@10 psi = ~350 whp
iirc...
but u don't care about straightline ... why would you boost anything? ;P

Difference between the 2 is if all you want to do is go straight, you get a huge turbo and get it to spool on top, you run a lot of boost and don't care when you get it because your foot is just pegged to the floor.
If you want to go bombing around a track or something, you get a small turbo, DON'T run a lot of boost and get it to spool instantly. You don't need hundreds of HP anyways, spinning wheels doesn't work.
^ won't you be put into a different class with a turbo though?
hmm, yes ... I've just about got all the power I need. My goal is 220 whp n/a ... that's good enough for me ... getting pretty damn close ;P
it's not too difficult to break my tires loose in 1st ... I can't stand not having traction. anything over 300 whp is useless on a fwd

Track days and driving schools are by experience level, not by car
Its probably not legal in very many W2W classes, but I'm not there yet.
