yes or no?
I say No! Go with the wet alot safer for a stock motor. I ran mine with colder plugs and sprayed for a year till i boosted. never had a problem and a really easy install. Just make sure you don;t get copper plugs.
ok wet seems to be the majority, You guys think I can safely run a 50 shot on my stock engine with a few mods if its a wet system instead of dry....so I need iridium spark plugs and thoughts of probably a stage 1 clutch for my everydaydriver....I will not be spraying everyday.
get a wet kit.
it couldnt hurt to upgrade the clutch.
and yeah you could run a wet 50 shot on a stock d17 there are plenty of people on these boards running a 50 shot on a stock block.
i would get the plugs.

of course the wet is safer than the dry shot.
The wet shot actually adds more fuel!
the dry shot has NO RETURN LINE to put the regulator on. Therefore, you CANNOT INSTALL A DRY SYSTEM!
