You'd be good with a t3/t4e. Dezod's turbos are good. Depends on your goal as far as power.

yeah that is way way way to big. Like andyman says i would use the t3/t4e or ask yourself how much power you want to make and then choose a turbo like that.

I got a stage 3 turbo cam custom ground, redline at 7500 and i think any more than a 60 trim t3/t04e would be laggy on the street for sure. the turbo is spooled around 4k. Losing any more of the power curve due to lag would suck *** in between shifts on the street. IMO If you hit 250 whp you would see that for a streetable civic, you'd have more than enough to hand a ton of people their asses on a silver platter. If you are going to the track to do all of your racing and can spend a bunch on tuning an EMS to keep that thing spooled better then maybe I'd consider a huge *** turbo.

My strategy: LEARN TO WALK BEFORE YOU RUN. Its ok to plan for the future with upgradabilty in mind, but if you walk into it hoping for a 400whp D17 because you slapped the biggest crap that money could buy onto your engine, you will surely be dissapointed. Its about putting your time in and finding what really works in real life, not on paper. There is no easy way to make the most usable HP. Its not in a book or a parts catalog. Consider the advise that these guys give, even if its not what you wanna hear. Its a time/money saver to have such a great tool like this site. Make the most of it.

so what all do you (or will you) have done that made you think you need 650 hp worth of turbo? especially since you were asking about a T25 and an HKS cast manifold in your last thread.

My thoughts precisely. Too much of this going around considering all that has been done with your typical SOHC Honda. By now all of these questions should be answered by either common sence or by poking around the internet for a few minutes. How many SOHC turbo setups include a turbo big enough to blow you're average house down??? IDK anymore. LMAO

alright after my last turbo flop i posted i did more research, but id like to find a more in depth thread on a/r's and what combinations do what going higher on the compressor less on the turbine vise versa, and one other thing can i run a larger turbo at lower psi till my engine is built so that i dont have to go through the trouble of changing turbos/ re routing piping etc or will it lag too much to be worth it and just save and do it all at the same time (haha what run on sentence) thanks

Why would you get a less powerful turbo now? Seems like a waste of money.....
