mod cat for dezod turbo

I know that Dezod has done away with the cat downpipe due to problems but I would realy like to keep it due to the enviromental impacts and noise. I do not have a kit yet but am really wanting to save up for one. I bought a Random technology high flow cat when SF was the kit everyone had and loved. But have been told this cat will not mount to the downpipe for the Dezod turbo. Does anyone know if you could take it to a muffler shop and have it modified to fit?
From the pictures it looks a little longer than the Dezod piece. May be just cut it down and flare the end out again.

An exhaust shop should not have any trouble fitting whatever you want into the setup.

basically have the DP cut off where you want the cat to go, weld the cat in, booyah, you got a cat. Thats what I'm doing with my custom job, were just whacking the stock DP off, welding a flange on and making a turbo DP.

Simple exhaust shop mod and that will take care of it. You could get our catless DP and get a 2.5" cat welded on there.

make a test pipe on your exhaust and that way you can bolt up the cat when you wanna cruise and take it off when you wanna race....

omg why do people always think cali is hella crazy when it comes to smog and cops? I drove straight up half yr on open header on my 7thgen and drove by cops and they didnt care. Even the refs arent that strict and its not that hard to pass smog.
