the turbo setup I am thinking off
Please give me any suggestion, especially where I say I do not know!?
dezod equal length T3 manifold
T3 super 60 from turbo calculators
don't know what size intercooler
RSX 450cc injectors
fuel pump
emanage
ec01 boost controller
8.5:1 compression pistons
crower stage 2 turbo cam
all new internals
HKS SSQ
Tial wastegate with 8psi spring
boost timer
what am I missing? please give feedback!
Oh yea, I drive a 02+civic+coupe+lx, that I am going to do a headswap on.

Forget the headswap. Its easier to tune a turbo car without variable timing.
There's a lot of parts seemingly missing for that much work, I also think with a completely built motor I'd be using more than e-manage to keep an eye on it (EMS).

ohhhh thats right, Crower only makes the cams for the A2 head. I guess you have to swap it. Generally its easier to tune a turbo when you only have to make a set of maps for 1 cam profile instead of 2.
And yes, with that much work, I'd be using an EMS.

the greddy e01 boost controller is nice, but kinda excessive. Get a more basic controller and use the left over money for an AEM wideband a/f gauge.

thats a big project for as lil hp that u want to get out of it.
ur missing a **** ton of small pieces too.
if ur rebuilding....bearings, all new gaskets...head studs/bolts
if ur doing a head swap ur going to have some wiring harness issues to asses. ur going to have ECU probs

A more basic boost controller is a single or dual stage manual boost controller by TurboXS. With the dual stage boost controller it comes with the option of switching from low to high boost within your vehicle. Price around $120-220.

agree about the bearings, gaskets, and such...might as well do it right if you're gonna rebuild.
any thoughts on PnP?
are you serious that is it, it would not be cheaper if I was to peice it together myself?
Because I can get a garrett T3 super 60 for alittle over 500 from turbo calculators? Bcause dezod's kit is going to run about 3500, and the EMS is another 1500 roughly.

^^If you can weld and fabricate, then it is definately cheaper.
Piece by piece is ok as well, but you are running into a lot of downtime, little bits and parts that will be missing and extra hassle. Leave it upto pros.
But all in all, turbo kits i find to be better, its like slap it on and go.

The thing is that I want the Dezod equal length manifold and he does not have it in his kit as of yet. I like kits as well because each one has some part or parts in it that I would like to substitute. I am wondering if I could talk to dezod to see if I could get the kit with the equal length mani

FYI=8.5to ! compression pistons means ur rebuilding the block. therefore u need new bearings and gaskets. if u dont i have no sympathy for u 10 miles down the road.
if ur going to do the head work and build the block, might as well sleeve it. get the AEM EMS and do it all right.
a turbo/engine build is never squared away from the get go. something will always need to be bought in order to get a final product.

^^I'm with you on this one, if you're doing major work on the engine, then you need bullettproof it all around.
But how I think is, since he already has lx, then there is no real need for him to switch to ex head. At least I dont see why.
So with what he has + kit and good tune on aem, he is good to go.
