K Series Transmission With EM2

Is it possible to swap k series transmission with my 02 civic EX to get a six speed transmission? I was told it bolds right up??

Is any of this true?? Any oppinions as to fix my soon... too be broken transmission??? THX ALL

i've never heard of a k series tranny fitting on a d series engine...do some more research and try it out...one thing i know is a k series tranny fits on an s2000 F20C

well hey if you get a civic from japan where the cars are backwards and a k20 tranny from america it will all match up and go forward.

The K tranny fits the F20 with a custom bell housing. It doesn't just bolt on.

IF it did bolt up to the D17, all you would have to do is turn the motor 180*. Then it would be turning the right direction.

custom mounts, extend the wiring harness, custom shifter linkage...... Thats all

EM2typeflex is an unknown quantity at this point

Now that we're on the topic of swapping out tranny's. I've heard that people are using ecotec tranny's on k-series because of their superior ridgidness. Anyone?
