how safe is it to run a stage1 N/A camshaft without springs and retainers?? Me...I dont floor it much. only if im in a hurry to get somewhere or if im pissed. i may race once in a while. and also, do you have to tune a stage1??

i cant answer the springs and retainer q but I would ASSume that u should. U dont need to get the cam tuned but if u do u will c better gains.

You don't have to do anything.
Crower says you dont need the spring kit, so I'll take their word it'll run safe. But its pointless to do the cam if you're not going to get it tuned.

oh...i hear some people say you still need springs and retainers even if it is a stage1. also some people say theres no point on tuning a stage1. i dont know..thanks for the info.
