installation of the sleeves require cutting out the stock ones, and pressing these in their place.
My block will be decked, and the mains will be line-hoaned. Its all in the price of installation. I will also have the cylinders power-hoaned.
It was $235 for all 4 sleeves. But remember, its still ~$600-$1000 for installation.
I think my tranny will hold up for a pass or two.

Turboengr, have you considered aftermarket transmissions or anything like that, or is it cheaper to just keep rebuilding the ones you break? Are there any companies that make beefy transmissions for the 7thgen that can withstand this sort of race setup?

it is 600-1000 if the block is completely broken down to the bare block (no pistons, no crank, no sensors, etc).
I havent found any aftermarket transmission companies yet. So i will just keep replacing them.

the whole tranny would need to be rebuilt from the ground up. If you make the bearings hold up, then the gears will let go. Once you get the gears done, the housing will break.
Ive been through it already with my buddies car. He has a custom set of straight cut chromoly gears with a helical LSD. What happened? Broke a bearing. Then after he fixed that? Well, lets put it this way..... He needs a new tranny case now.
I wont go into how much i have spent. I am poor. I have been since i started living on my own. I know people, i get sponsors, i build parts, i trade parts.

Darton claims that the stock sleeves will give at ~15 psi of consistent boost (over time)
My sleeves, when used in conjunction with a block guard, can hold a consistent 40 psi of boost.

Ok well i am going to start my motor build up and gotta get these sleeves. How much will stock handle with block guard? Also when do our rods begin to give out i heard after 10 they will break. What do you think

I dunno. I ran 15 psi several times with stock rods. I was running 11-13 psi daily. C2I0V0I1C is/was running stock rods with his setup on above 10 psi of boost.
wouldn't it have been easier to just send the bocl out and have the whole block done? I plan on sending mine out to benson to be done. Looks like me and you have the same goal. Im aiming for that 450whp mark too. I figure why build a block thats not gonna make power. We're gonna have to get a custom IM so that we can fit the proper sized injectors and don;t really have a choice but to go aem ems. If I find any tricks i'll let you know. Right now im working on just building the block them im gonna have to solve the fuel problem

ive solved the fuel problem. Ive built a custom intake manifold. And my block is completely built.
And yes (to an extent). Almost all aluminum blocks are sleeved. If you take your cylinder head off and look at the top of your cylinders, you will see that the outer cylinder wall is aluminum, and the inner cylinder wall is steel. But it is not thick enough or strong enough grade to handle massive power.

Nope.
I wont until its on the car and tested. I have everything setup on my other block in my garage. And i need to do some finishing touches on it. I still need to figure out where i am going to put the vaccum sources, and need to decide on which throttle body i am going to go with.

tunnning the fuel system would be a mission with 2 injectors for each cylinder.I already have 550's but they need more room to fit. I might just go with an edlebrock IM from a d16 and fab it to fit

I just got some even larger injectors. 680's i believe. I hope i can make this damn thing idle......
I could make it run extra injectors, but i didnt think the emanage could control 4 extra injectors.
I have a fully ported 98 civic ex intake manifold if anyone wants to buy it.
