Question Nitrous jet question???

i just got a NOS kit (yes its the holly NOS brand im not another dumb$hit that thinks all Nitrous kits are NOS). the kit is the pro fogger dry system. it has a 75 shot jet in it now, i need to find out what size jet to install to make about 30-40 hp. the motor wont handle the amount of nitrous this jet allows without fuel system upgrades. im going to get the solenoid and line to make it a wet kit but for now ill use it dry with a small shot. whats the smallest jet i can use and are all brand names compatable with the holly NOS systems???? please help

my NOS wet kit came with three jets 35-50-75. Are u sure u dont have the smaller jets? They should have numbers on the jets.

if its a dry kit, there is a lot of retrofitting you would have to do to run it on your car (assuming you have a 2001+ civic, also assuming you didnt do a return line conversion).

Now if its a wet system, you simply need to change the pills. I would call the NOS tech line and get a base size to start with. Usually they set up the jets fat (rich), so i would have the car dyno tuned. Buy the jets that are 3 steps above and below on both jets (total of 14 jets) and play around with them on the dyno (closely watch the A/f Ratio.

I don't like running any dry kit in our cars, but I think a 25-30 shot should be safe.
