Turbociv has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Turbo Upgrade Parts

What are some modifications that need to be done to an engine to allow more boost to be forced on it???

stronger head gasket for sure or o ring it because once you hit more then ten it will most likely take out the head gasket. Stronger internals

HG may not be necessary until the 225-300 WHP mark with good tuning and EMU

Definitely turbo pistons w/ thick rings
Forged turbo rods
Possible Sleeving of the motor**
Return fuel system
Larger injectors
Upgraded fuel pump
Go stand alone engine management**(be the first on here) Haltech, Tec3, HKS F-con...

That should equip you enough to handle 15-18 PSI easily.

** indicates that not entirely necessary.

2K1Civic17"Gabe is an unknown quantity at this point
yeah, get a 9:1 compression, and a good tune, stack 2 HG's if ya want, that will drop compression a little bit (allow for more boost), definately stand alone emu.

wtf..........you don't need nothing.

why spend the money if it is not needed. I've been boosted for over 1 yr and i run 9psi daily.

I have hit well over 10psi many many times. My motor is still completely stock and I still have my factory clutch and HG.

****....

i agree.... everyone cries about head gaskets. WHY?!?
There is nothing wrong with an MLS gasket. The stock honda gasket is awesome. The only thing that causes them to blow is detonation. If you detonate, you will probably blow most aftermarket gaskets, unless you get a copper one. I have several friends running the stock head gaskets on their cars, and they make insane power. My friend Jeff has a 96 hatch running 10.20's, and making 500+ hp at the wheels with a turbod GSR. And the fastest of my friends ran a 9.30 with the stock head gasket on a turbod GSR. So i would think the stock gasket would hold with some good tuning.

What i do with my motor is....
Torque the head to 59 ft/lbs
tune conservatively
run high octane gas when racing
