TSI Questions
I've read alot about this kit but I just want to get a few things straight and list all the issues and make sure thats all there is.
1) The header needs to be shaved (no big issue, just a bit)
2) IC piping on the dirvers front does not fit properly
3) Are there any other issues?
Questions:
1) If you get the kit with the EManage option do you need to buy injectors or does the kit come with them?
2) What else is needed to complete the install? Is everything included that you'll need (extra injectors, any fittings, ect?)
3) With the EManage system tuned, what is the max safest boost you can run on 93 pump? (assuming the clutch has been replaced)
4) What are the dyno numbers and at what boost level are they from?
I think if all this informatin was listed out it would make peoples lives easier instead of sorting through hundereds of postes to find the info. If you can answer these questions that would really help me alot in makin decisions on boosting. Thanks alot

1)It should come with the injector block I believe its called, if you get the eManage. So yeah, your good on injectors, just make sure it does come with the injector block.
2)For reliablility, you need, A/F Gauge (wideband preferably), boost gauge, fluids, spark plugs, tools (borrowing is easier, thats what I did). Everybodys pipe seemed to fit on the drivers side ok, but mine didnt, so I bought a flexitube that was like 10 bucks and the same diam. I cut it and put that there instead.
3)This is everybodys opiniong. People say you can run up to like 12psi safely. And others say NO MORE THAN 8psi. I dont boost more than 8psi, but have hit 13 3 or 4 times.(13 on stock internals=big no no, btw)
4)somebody hit 198 hp at 8psi I believe. Talk to CrewChief about numbers. He's had the kit for a long time, and should have some numbers for ya.
Hope this helps.

Thanks alot. Does the Emanage come tuned? Or is that something I'll have to do? I'm also thinking about swaping stock injectors for the RSX-S injectors. I guess my main concern is the whole Emanage thing, I'm not sure how difficult it is to hook up/tune.

The emanage dosen't come tuned, but there are some basemaps that are floating around that you can TUNE off of. I cap'ed TUNE because you don't just throw them in and expect them to work, every place is differen't. Honestly about the injectors, I would scrap whatever the hell TSI has an just get 4 RSX-S injectors (new or used) and throw those in the stock fuel rail. I woulden't excel past 8 psi if I were you either, but you can do what you want. The most I can say is whatever kit you get, tune, tune, and tune again, and when you THINK your done, tune some more. =)

It isnt that bad. The injectors are good for like 14psi that TSI sends you. 4 new injectors would be better though. If you are not using TSIs injector block thing, than sell it. They sell that for like 600 bucks or so new. its like 1200 for the injector block, and the ICU. so youll get a good amount of money for it, and emanage can tune them.
I'm gonna tell you from experience the fastest way to go about this...
I have the TSI turbo kit with the T25 turbo on it. 4 months ago when I purchased the kit and had it put on, I was only upset about the fitment issues, but now I'm wishing I would have went with the right stuff the first time around.
I have an LX, got the eManage, and the RSX injectors. Screw the two additional injectors, I'm not even using them! I just went and dynoed, going to dyno again tomorrow for daily driving purposes (first time was for WOT), and I should have went this was first time around. Those RSX injectors are nice to have! I tossed the ICU I had gotten from TSI, a total piece of crap.
RSX Type-S injectors (thanks Dezod!), and and the eManage. Sorry, I also have the Walbro 255lph for future fuel pressure issues, but for now, my engine is hitting the perfect A/F ratio for daily driving.
Have fun trying to get some of these guys to respond to your post. If it doesn't help them, you will get no reply.
To be honest with you, the only maps I'm using are the boost cut limiter for voltage clamps, additonal injection map, and .....I can't remember...maybe only one more.
Best of luck.
