uh.. ****.

Well, i was taking my motor apart so i could take it to the machine shop tomorrow to have the sleeves installed, and i found most of what i expected...
2 broken pistons, 2 scored cylinder walls.

But what i didnt expect to find was this......

Looks like i may need a new crank. Im going to have it inspected to see if i can still use it. I dont see anything wrong with the crank while looking at it with my bare eyes, but that doesnt mean that its not f***ed.

Anyone want to sell me your crank?

hmmm.......with that much damage to ur bearings, i doubt that you can cut the crank. Make sure that you get it magnafluxed too.

Got any pics of the journals ???

I actually live about 1/2 mile from Bestway Autosports. I do all of my own motor and fabrication work.

My wife has worked at starbucks for about 1.5 years now.

The journals are actually not very damaged. The machine shop said it will polish right out with a little bit of micropolishing. The damage on the crank was soo small, that you could barely feel any grooves in the journal. I thought that there would be deep cuts, but these grooves are probably less than .0001" deep.
