Question Any '04-05 Vic w/K20A2

Have any of you '04-05 Vic owners done the K20A2 swap yet? I don't think so. I think my car will be the first '04-05 with a K20A2.

Are you sure? Hasport said that, other than myself, nobody has called them for the mount kit for an '04-05. If someone has done the swap to an '04, they didn't use Hasport motor mounts.

yup, ive met a few sprayers in Phoenix. No boosted 7thgen coupes other than me, but a few people with nitrous. Never heard of this site. I always tell them though, usually cuz theyve been looking for a turbo kit but cant find it, lol.

So, are you saying that you know of an '04-05 Civic with a K20A2 in it?

Understand. I am still willing to bet that I will have the first '04 with a K20A2.

does 04-05 even require a different mount from the 01-03?

That is where you are wrong. Swappin a K20A2 into an '04-05 is not exactly the same as an '01-03. Honda made some changes in '04.

Different OEM mount? I don't know. All I know for a fact is that the Hasport motor mounts for an '01-03 are not compatible with an '04-05.
