I'd have to second that. You'll have a very big headache, especially asking, will this fit. You dont want something that will suck, get his kit. If I had the money Im pretty sure I wouldnt have thought twice about this kit. TSIs is decent, but you'll have a million more headaches like Im having with it. Get Dezods kit!

if you can buy a pre made kit it will save you $$$$ if your just wanting to be able to boost. But on the other hand kits may or may not have what you want and you have to settle for less as in the TSI kit. In the long run custom will rule. But the next best thing to custom ive seen in kit form is the dezod kit. But ive only seen pictures. Not sure if there has been any post of final dynos and such yet from his customers?

1.1 bar - Are you getting internals with this setup????

1.1 bar ~ 16psi !

Go with something MUCH lower. Get a .4 bar wastegate spring or so, thats 6 psi of boost. Remember, your wastegate spring setting is your minimum boost, boost controllers are used to raise boost above the wastegate setting, and its much better/safer/smarter to have the ability to turn boost down to 6 psi. Ask 2K1Civic17"Gabe, he was having issues with his TSI kit and was hitting a hair less than 1 bar (13 psi), which was a PROBLEM for him- he did not want to be boosting that high!

Go for the .4 bar spring.

As far as intercooler goes, unless you are going to run a hell of a lot of boost, I would get something that fits your custom kit well (go for fitment more than a rediculously large core size, don't just get the biggest you can get- snag one that looks sweet with your fascia, and works with your plumbing).

Hope that helps! You are a step closer to the darkside

Bob.

I'll agree with Gabe here... I think you might want to get a kit, if you don't want the headache and worry of fitment issues. If you are hell bent on going custom, see my post above.

HKS manifold is for T25/T28
HKS manifold is for internal wastegate

I would suggest you go out and buy a complete kit.

I have to admit...the stage I kit looks like a high quality kit without a doubt, but seems kinda expensive...atleast with a custom kit, though it is more headache, can be easier to obtain (pricewise) because it can be bought piece by piece if you're not bling blingin.

For those who are going custom...if you're patient and you do the research, its not hard to put together a turbo kit for a fair price. You can find a lot of good deals on stuff thats barely used if you search.

I've spent $1400 so far on all my parts and the only things I still need are manifold, gauges, and boost controller and that will be another $600-700 no biggie.

Oh and btw, if you're thinking right now that my kit is only consisting of primarily **** for parts and that I'm just simply comparing apples to oranges, you're highly mistaken.

Not trying to knock the dezod kit guys. In fact if I had that much cash to **** away in one shot and not really care if I over spent a lil, I would more than likely buy the kit. It does look pretty sweet. I'd rather have a tubular manifold though because they flow better.
