Rep Power: 262 Whered you get your pistons?
I am tired of having soo much crap on my car that i cant use. I am finally building up my block so i can actually use them.
I have a GT3071R waiting to go on, along with a stainless equal length 1.5" ID primary manifold, 450cc injectors, and an NOS wet system to top it off.
My question to you guys is: Where did you get your pistons and rods, and how much did you pay for them?
And please dont lecture me on nitrous with boost. Ive done it before, and i already have the second fuel tank built with its own pump & return line.
I just need to get some prices. Is Crower still the only company that makes the rods?
I need part numbers as well please. Thank you in advance!

Rep Power: 262 yes i did. I attempted to do a 96 civic ex conversion, but got too lazy to build the post shifter assembly, so i ended up abandoning the project and put another 02 lx tranny in. Afterwards i found out that the input shaft bearing in the 96 ex tranny was bad anyway.
i did also manage to shell my turbo today while going back to work after lunch. That was not fun. Good thing i have a backup in my garage. Looks like friday night will be spend pulling the turbo off, swapping exhaust housings on the turbos, then putting it all back in.
I also have been on another project with one of my friends. He has an 03 si with a Kpro and 550 cc injectors. I just finished his intercooler piping, and i will be building the manifold soon. The intercooler is the same size as mine. We are going with a large T25, because we are going to evolve it into a twin turbo setup later on (when he has more $$$).

Its not going to put out enough power for how much he spends on it. A single t3/t4 will cost less and put out more power. I saw a guy that did twins on a B18....cost him a **** load and had to tach up to 6000 for turbos to spool and he still had less power than a single t3/t4. Twins not worth it on a 4 banger unless you are only using it for a show car and not driving it around all the time.
Just as a show car would be pretty sick...too bad the turbos would be on the back of the motor and hard to see

Also, i did a twin turbo setup on a STOCK B16, it made 10 psi of boost at 1600 rpm and held it all the way to redline. Which is what, about 8200?
I have turbocharged more cars than most could ever dream. Please dont argue with me about this. Many many people on this board know who i am, know what i have built, and some even have some custom parts i have built for them.
