Good Deal ???
Is this a good deal for what they give you? What else would you need other than the intercooler? thanks http://accordspeed.com/acd17tukit.html

your missing A LOT in that kit.
the manifold = crap.
t3 = too big IMO (at least for daily driver if your not looking to make HUGE numbers)
wastegate = dunno.
but for $775, who knows.
Kit comes with 3 parts
1. Equal Length Manifold
2. 38mm Wastegate
3. T3 turbo capable of over 400 whp
OBX Turbo Manifolds

yeah it says accord and prelude to I really don't think they know what they are talking about. It may fit, but as was said earlier the turbo is to big and the manifold is not the best. Plus you will need to get an intercooler (most hp for the $ of any mod) and many other things such as piping, e manage, injectors, fuel pump, line to oil pan. You are 10 times better off just buying a kit that you know will fit (somtimes they don't even fit LOL)

yeah, definately throw that biyatch on there and youll have no air coming into your IM. Plus no oil, or h20 or anything else that possibly may be needed, piping, fuel, etc, etc, etc. You need to spend another 2000 to get that running.

It really doesn't look like they did any research at all on the D17 and just threw together generic parts together.
Like what was said before, the kit is missing A LOT. You'll be spending at least another 2 grand on everything else you'll need.

Like we both said, youll be spending so much more money, that you should get a proper kit to start with, or just go custom if your wanting to waste all that cash anyways. Custom is the way to go, but TSI has a good kit/price. Much less modifying than that POS, IMO.
So dont get it, honestly, it will suck

You cannot generalize and say a T3 is too big. There are 43253534 different kinds of T3s. I can think of some that will be too small, and some that are so big it won't even make boost on a D17.
Your boost threshold will be affected by turbo sizing and manifold design.
Turbo lag will also be affected by turbo sizing and manifold design.
Lag and boost threshold are COMPLETELY different things, so please be careful when talking about them.

a t3 with .42/.48 ar will be fine..start spoolin at 3k full spool by 3800...
have you guys heard of the obx manifold being **** by more than one person? i mean sure, theres the one manifold that blew/cracked a hole but c'mon.. they sell lots of these manifolds for all diff. years of cars and i haven't seen or heard of any other problems besides that one..
