i got something to say.
first it would be an illegal swap.
second motor mounts would have to be custom made, as a matter of fact, alot of custom fabrication will be needed. custom fabrication=$$$$$$$$$
third, it will be one hell of an install.

It would be a legal swap. There was an 01' prelude: http://www.autotrader.com/research/m...used&x=45&y=10
but common! k > h

mounts are a big problem as well as tranny fitment matching placement in the engine bay! sure the motor may be cheap in comparrison to the K! but GEZZZ you would end up spending more money on the install and fabication then buying the k in the first place!

An H series WILL NOT FIT in the engine bay, unless you remove most of the front of the car. I believe Hasport tried already, and were unsuccessful. If they can't pull it off, I would not be to optimistic on you doing it.

i had a freind who thought of throwing a prelude engine in his 4 door integra but a local shop said the weight would really mess with the cars balance.... not to mention the grocery list of frankenstien parts he would have needed

Go for it, drive your car to AZ, and see if Hasport will make some custom mounts and market them. I would be hella down for that swap if there were already mounts, much cheaper, but you can always get them custom made. Good luck! Be original. I liked that B16 swap, I wouldnt mind that, EVEN THOUGH ITS ILLEGAL, I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE! So is turboing(w/o cat) or other stuff for performance, so whatever.

have fun doing an h22 swap... it's gonna be way harder putting an h22 in the car than a K series motor.... i realize you absolutely love the H22 but sometimes you have to face reality and that is, it's gonna cost you way more money for just about the same amount of horsepower as a K20a2....
as you can see from the dynograph put out by AEM....
AEM H22 V2 intake DYNO
and then the dynograph for the K20a2....
AEM RSX-S K20A2 Motor Dyno
The numbers are litterally the same as far as the stock baseline HP goes.... There are a bunch of parts out for the h22 but there are just as many for the K20 motor as well... there are some companies out there that have things made for the our cars with the k20 swap.... not to mention that hasport already has mounts out for them....
do what you want but you're gonna find that it's going to be way more of a headache doing the h22 swap than a K-series.

k20 > h22, those saying h22 are so heavy and they suck at twisties. A decent set of suspension and sway bars i'll fix it right up. There are some EG H-series handing some *** in auto-x to some b-series EG. They both have their ups and downs. But don't underestimate the H.
