So I've realized already(only $3,000) into it, that my d17 isn't going to pull 10s. It ain't happening. I've read that the k20a is a badass engine. Obviously if I had a hot rod, I'd build one, but I don't. I have this Civic. I love my car, but it's not fast enough.

I want to start with a block and build up. I'm thinking about buying this Dart k20 block and going from there all the way up to Turbo/NOS. I'm talking a complete out of car build. Anyone done this on a 2004 yet? Will a k20 fit? What parts are the best(cam, crank, pistons, connecting rods, valves, pulleys, ECU stuff, gaskets, etc. anything else I forgot) for the money? Obviously this won't be an overnight thing, but I'm serious about doing it.

10k on parts alone you mean. Installation is expensive, since the k20a2 just barely fits.

your better off selling the car and getting a type-s. even though you might go under on the sale, itll be alot cheaper and easier.

have u been on clubrsx.com? Swap and turbo is nice but u can make power n/a also. Have u seen the ispy cam rsx-s dyno? They got like i/h/e cams k-pro, hondata im gasket etc and hit like 230 hp and over 160 tq. That would be nice enough but turbo would be crazy lol
