Exedy organic or ACT HD00 for 10 psi of boost? [Mods pls. lock]

[I ordered my clutch already, Mods pls. lock this thread.]

Hey guys, I need a clutch ASAP since the car is barely driveable. The only 2 clutches that fit into my budget are these 2. Which one do you guys think is more durable and will last longer?

The score:

ACT HD00: 1

Exedy organic: 4

ACT HDSS: 2

i got excedy stage 1 and i love it, it feels like stock so it wouldnt be hard on your left foot

anyways my buddy has excedy stage 2 and he is also happy with it. Hope this helps

I have the exedy organic i think it could handle 10psi and its best bet for the money you can't beat that price.

I have the ACT stage 2 also. It's way bad ***. That is true about the Exedy's price, though. If I had to choose again I would still go for the ACT.

ACT stage 2 isnt that much more than the stage 1, i think i might consider that one too.

I was worried about pedal effort with the stage 2 but it is not even an issue. In fact, I think it feels better. It's all subjective though.

Stage 2 extreme ACT. I dragged it every week and that thing held for almost a year with +8psi launches and BF Goodrich drag radials.

Towards the end of the season it was starting to slip in 3rd gear and on some launches. This clutch is supposed to hold up 275 lbs of torque at the wheels so I wouldn't gop much weaker.

You say the clutch is a little more expensive, but if you're replacing it sooner what's the point of buying a cheaper one? Try www.dezod.com if you want to check them out.... he has a lot of ACT stuff. Good luck either way.

what about the stage 3. would that be better to get then a stage 2. even if your running 8 or 9psi.and if im boosting 10 to 12psi would a stage 2 be fine or would it be a better idea to just get the best first?

Sorry guys but ACT XTSS is way out of my budget. But that will be my next clutch for sure. I just need time to save.

Im getting the exedy organic, but not sure what ones better, sorry. im getting a good price on a new one. Ill be boosted for a couple weeks on my stock clutch, than gonna replace.
