I just tried to update my Emanage with my Profec E0-1 and while doing so I got a communication error. I had the ignition harness unplugged and the engine was not running. Now whenever I turn the car to on my "Active" light flashes red, green, then orange. Anyone have any idea what's up? I just got off a 16 hour shift and I am dead tired so I probably ****ed something up or am forgetting something stupid.

Hmmm, did you try unpluging the e-01 and plugging it abck in? =)

^ Yeah.
Now the update screen just shows "XX.X" for the version number of the Emanage. I tried to initialize the Emanage and I just got a communication error. I read somewhere about people having problems udating the Emanage with the E0-1, but it didn't go into specifics. I knew I should have bought the support tool.

^^Yeah, I got it on my laptop, but you run the same risks lol. I've heard of ppl frying their emanage when they got connction errors... If I were you I would go and reupdate the emanage withthe files, then re update the firmware for it to get it running back up to spec

i had that problem. try updating the emenage again. if not then make sure that the com port setting on your laptop and the open on your emenage are the same. I had the flashing lights but once I updated the emanage again it worked fine.

Ok. Looks like I'm off to www.streetlevelperformance.com to buy the support tool. I keep trying to update w/ the E0-1 and it's a "no go". Thanks Hya. + Points

I think thats your problem. the update failed between the 2 because the eo-1 and the emenage are on dif. com settings. I didn;t know you didn;t have the support tool
