I think overall it's the budget thing
If everyone could afford a equal length then everyone would get it.
But everyone can't. I'd rather put a whole kit together for the price of a just a EL manifold. But thats me
Just like if every car manufactuer could charge the price Porsche charges for their turbo cars then more factory turbocharged cars would have had them too

Full Race EL manis are great for racing.
Although for everyday use on our 7thgens, you'll have to lose your AC.
Log manifolds help the turbo spool faster and are better for the streets.
