TSX K24A2 Engine Swap into 7th Gen Civic
TSX K24A2 Engine Swap into 7th Gen Civic
1. Can a TSX Engine and Tranny be swapped into a 7th Gen Civic?
Current civic is an automatic and will be staying automatic.
2. Other than the engine swap is there anything else necessary or wise to consider changing when dropping a 200HP engine into a Civic?
Thanks,
This is my second post ever very new to this idea, but dropping a 200HP engine into a Civic sounds fun

the tsx auto tranny will not fit... don't be a bitch and learn stick. the enjo mounts work, but the hasport passanger mount will have to be changed for a stock k24 mount, it will fit, with the k24 you will need a si or rsx tranny, it will fit with the enjo or hasport mounts.
you will need to get k pro, and you have to use a rsx or si TB to bypass the DBW. and the kpro is because you havbe to bypass the drive by wire. hondata does not want to need with drive by wire...
please search 7thgen and clubrsx, k20a.org, k-series.com, honda-tech, and do more research before you ask questions that have been beaten to death...
