i was just wondering what this is and how it works i mean some on said they can run more boost with this on it. o yeah i was also just wondering how to hook it up thanx dudes.

I dunno why water is in the title, isnt it just methanol (alchy) injection? Well, what it does is it allows you to run more boost w/o detenating becuase it raises the octane level =)

someone else wrote that in another thread and i thought that even though you raise the octance doesnt it still put strain on every thing

Jim Wolf Technologies (the premier Nissan Turbo and N/A ECU Tuner) has their own special water injectrion program...to quote Clarke, the head programmer, he suggests using it with high boost applications to help avoid detonation (as we've already discussed in the thead)...however he stresses to users that this should not be used as a primary deterrent of detenation...

Basically, this is great extra insurance to esnure safe higher boost levels, but should not be used as the primary method to control ping...

thanx guys ill be sure to order it but antoher thing was that every one is saying refill it with rubbing alcohol but i look at a bottle and it said not to be used as ethyl alcohol

If you 'shop around'...you'll see that there are certain brands of windshiled wiper fluid that will work....

Dont use rubbing alch or winshield washer fluid..

Buy pure methanol from a race track or mailorder it.

I have 250whp of proof that on a stock D17-turbo with stock fuel system that methanol injection works.

I've got proof of many 300+ HP sr20's that use windshield washer fluid with the aquamist setup??

i believe there are a few 400+ det boys that use it too??

I know of plenty of Sr20's and RB's that make those numbers with no water/meth injection.

I want to see numbers on a stock internals/fuel D17 turbo.

Obviously...I was just trying to make the point that water injection from windshiled fluid isn't a bad thing, and def somtehign to consider for those of run on the ragged edge of tuning...def somethign to consider for a track car...helps keep everything nice and happy inside (track=roadcourse)

that is a members car here.......he is from canada and i can't remember his sn. He was selling that kit. That there is a air/water intercooler. It has nothing to do with water/alcohol injection. It is a very nice set-up though
