Fuel Pressure Regulator for WHEN BOOSTED????

If I have my stock injectors w/ the SAFC set plus 20... and it still runs lean...
(If i add a Fuel Pressure Regulator..) would that help fix the problem.....
would it be good enough to run 7-8 psi?

Probably not. Stock injectors are way insufficient for 7-8. Go to RC injector website and use there injector selection chart. 310s might be about right. If you go any bigger and try to correct for it off boost you will trip a CEL. BTW a boost referencing regulator is a good idea still.

Well first you need to convert to a return style fuel system. Streetlevelperformance.com sells that kit for our cars. Then you can add the fpr and add more fuel. And safc isn't the best tuning tool either. Why not get the e-manage?

a fpr will not do anything with a stock intank fuel pump. The stock fuel pump has a built it fpr. You need to upgrade the intank pump, then install a fpr. Also, you will need to modify the fuel rail to run a return line back to the tank for a return fuel system.

Then when that is done..........if you have a wideband, then street tune it......if not......limp you car over to a shop with a dyno and tune it.

Yea.. I have the RC 310's in the trunk of my car... the only thing was that I put them in there once. and they didnt fit.. it was hizzin and leakin everywhere. The stock Rail aint big enough......... So if i by the return Fuel system kit.... the stock Injectors would be able to hold the psi's?

Now let me ask you this.. cuz i was about to have these people create a Fuel Rail Custom, If I was able to stick dont RC 310's in there right with the new rail... Would that be all i needed.. or would i still need that conversion kit??????????

i still don't know why you didn't get the type s injectors...........they are rated as 330's i believe.

anyway.......it might be cheaper to buy type s injectors than to have a shop custom make a rail for you.

Let me ask you this............do you still have the stock intank fuel pump ????

no stock injectors will not. you can prob get away with the custom rail and no FPR but you should do everything including the pump if you want to play it real safe.

probably but without a FPR you will only be able to run the fuel pressure at around 43lbs. You will get more out of the setup if you lose the in tank FPR and go with an external, boost referencing one. You will be able to crank up the pressure and get more fuel from the injectors. You can push RCs pretty hard.
