Custom Turbo
So I changed my mind about the TSI kit, ive heard too many problems with them. Ive been talking to a guy and he said he can get me a custom kit

Since he mentioned an FPR he is probably thinking you have the same motor as a 6th gen. Alot of people think that. So he was probably thinking of prices for parts he has, or can get, for that motor.
The only reason I say this is because whenever I tell people I am going to turbo charge my Civic, they start giving me all this advice on what I should do, and what I'm doing wrong or, "I can get that for this price". 99% of all the "advice" and prices end up being totally unrelated to our car.
Some of those things on that list are universal, but alot of that stuff will have to be custom fabricated or bought from people like SF, Dezod, TSI, or Max Rev. That list just seems too generic to be accurate.

and the high end prices i listed comes to 3600, thats about at brand name prices, but the intercooler and piping can come as a kit and be better lookin that some muffler shop bending and welding pipes, 304 stainless piping aint cheap

Just stick with our turbo kit.....I think we know the D17 far better than 90% of the companies out there who make kits. We drive one daily.

Either go with the dezod kit or go custom. those are the only really good ways boost. SLP is coming out with a kit soon too. Jeff has some crazy @$$ stuff coming with the kit that have never heard of or see in my life.

115 shipped for an old t25 dsm, then 200 at the local mitsu dealer for a brand new rebuild of it =)

Boost Controller = used Greddy Profec B Spec 1's go for 225ish shipped (don't waste time with manual ones...Profecs don't creep and hold rock solid

Get the smaller and enjoy a quick spool and LOOONG flat and powerful torque curve...remember 250 whp from 2400rpm to redline is alot more fun/fastr than just peaking at 300 at redline

Did he tell you what kinda INjectors your gonna put in...
cuz just to let you knw.. If you go bigger then TYPE S injectors
there aint no way your going to be able to fit Bigger injectors on a stock Fuel rail...
Thats why i am having a Fuel Rail beeing craeted for it!..

if you looked at my post you'd see where I have the cost for both bigger injectors and a fuel rail...

^^Your not taking into account that the custom kit gives you everything you need, notihng you dont. Also with the custom kit you can get guarentted quality parts if you spend the money. you never know for sure unless it's labeled if your getting good parts with a normal kit =)
