Install is way too much, they're trying to take your money dude. I like the setup. IMO you can get an intercooler and piping for WAY less than $1100. Check out turbocalculator.com.......they sell a bunch of custom made intercoolers. Just find what dimensions you wanna use and you can get one for like $400. $700 sound alot better to me then $1100, but i'm thinking you just really want a greddy one! Haha, well good luck.

that is WAY too expensive for a basic turbo setup, IMO. go k20a2 if you're going to spend 5,000 on a turbo kit.

this setup will give me lil more power than k20a2 and a lot more than titleist71's kit. Especially since I am doing engine work later on I wanted to go with something that can build upon itself.
Also I am now getting mad hooked up so its gonna be a lot cheaper.
Turbo sponsor here I come(maybe...)

$100 Greddy Oil Feed/Return Line $75 custom (you're paying for a name)
$800 Greddy Intercooler (installing later) ($200 at JRC)

$1500 Install (guessing that includes tuning/install/any modifications...) - Install the crap yourself...1500 is outrageous!![/

The above items can be found for much less money

You can get a custom new t3/t04 from Jason at MJM (1-205-339-0616) for about 500 bucks top.....www.turbocalculator.com also has a wide variety of kickass turbochargers all at perfect prices..heck right here is a link...you can even pick your trim and a/r housing! http://www.turbocalculator.com/view-...ct=002-002-003

You can purchase your Tial Wastegate for 215 at No Limit right here: (http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/38mmS)

The feed line is just normal -3 line, which you can get made at any decent part store for like 40-50 bucks, and the turn hose is just simply good silicone return tube, for about 25 bucks...so you're saving 25 here

And the biggest rip off is your Intercooler...JohnnyRace Car offers the best bang for buck IC's you can get...i have one, my buddies use them and there is a guy that drags his rx7 with one at near 450 whp with it...200 shipped to your door (http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/38mmS)

In the end using my links/suggestions you're saving 910 bucks in parts (600+25+35+300=960) and thats without labor included...doing it yourself shoudl save you around 1000 dollars, as you'll only pay for dyno time/tune

So you could easily save a easy 2,050/1,900 bucks....

Not to tell you want to do, but **** i hate to see you loose all that hard eearned cash...with all that you save you could build your motor too!!

Thanks for the info.
The greddy oil line I was getting I didn't look that far into, but it requires no welding to the oil pan, the wastegate I believe was around the same price but I added a lot in for shipping for some reason(not sure why I had it at 250), the FMIC looks like a good deal. I am working with a new company, owned by my friend, to see what I can get everything for. Install is going to be around 500 for tuning and everything at his shop. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens over the next few days. I am suppose to get a call back tomorrow regarding all of this. Looking into that turbo as well.
Thanks all for Looking Out.
Also they recommended the HKS SSQ BOV for better quality.

The turbo timer...meh...I dunno...The best way to cool down your turbo is to drive at low rpms for a 1/2 mile or so before you shut it off, then just wait 30 seconds in the car while it cools down...I've seen to many times where the timer goes crazy or always makes it 3 or 5 minutes...

As for the boost controller...many people love MBC due to easy of install, but I'd suggest to you to find a used Greddy Profec B Spec I for your car...the easiest EBC to use, and it works 100 percent all the time...boost never spikes or jumps or anything...rock solid boost control!

Not sure how that is possible...with any kit, I'd fully advise to have all return fittings welded/brazed in...this eliminates any chance for leak

Nothign wrong at all with the SSQ....but IMO I like the Type S...mainly because it has a 'semi' universal flange, unlike the SSQ where it's can only be used on that particular WG...plus I love the sound of the Type S

The Type S is the same thing as the Profec Spec I...just with fancier ***** and case lol

I'm glad the people at greddy realized that the fuzzy logic involved with the spec II just seemed to be a bit harder to 'dial in' then the old spec I

So it doesn't look as cool...as long as it functions right! Profec for life! ;]

5,000 is alot of bones

I can honestly say that I could build a motor, and have a full boost setup for less than that....

but then again we all do'nt have hookups
